This vessel was hand build using coiled clay and then put through an atmospheric smoke firing to obtain it's surface design and patina. The exterior is coated with a lowfire glaze. The interior is raw stoneware, which is not glazed due to the low temperature firing. Therefore the vessel should be used as a stand alone sculpture only. It's approximately 13 inches tall and 10 inches wide at it's widest. (please note the sculptural clay is too porous to hold water).
