This hand build, coiled, tripod vessel is made out of black stoneware clay and smoke fired to achieve the surface patina.  It can be used as a stand alone sculpture or a vase for dried flowers.  The exterior is raw stoneware clay with black velvet raku glaze, and the inside is not glazed so it can not hold water.  It's approximately 9 inches tall and 8 inches thick at it's widest.  (please note the sculptural clay is too porous to hold water)
